Okay so for the fact that I've got massive amounts of drawings up here for stories here is a preview of the first story in my Griffin series. It's called Luck or Fate and that's the title I'm sticking too. Hope you all like it; it is still a work in progress so sorry for any errors.

He stood leaning with his arm leaning against the window frame, hand slightly closed, his other hand resting with his thumb in his pocket as he stared out the window. He ran a hand through his hair as his eyes stopped on a girl who was staring up at him without being able to actually see him through the tinted glass. I wonder how many storeys this building has? He smirked wondering if he should answer him. He knew the girl well yet she didnt have a solid idea of who he was. He had been a part of her for so long that his voice had been comfort to her since the first time she had thought of suicide when she was 14. He sighed as his assistant started talking pulling his attention away from her. He briefly watched her walk away before he turned to face his staff that was gathered for the weekly meeting. The girl was heading to the library to do some research for her science homework and prepare for an English oral presentation something he knew she dreaded. He whispered to her a light smile playing on his face. You will be fine amor.

Rika sighed as she walked around the school. She had read something last night while doing some research that had sparked something inside of her. Now she was dwelling on it while she skipped her class. Rika left her blonde hair out today; her brown eyes were scanning the school halls. She was dressed in simple blue jeans and a black long sleeve shirt. She ran her hand along the wall lightly enjoying the feel of the texture on her fingers. She smiled, lost in thought as she wandered.
The school was one large building combined with the public library at one end. It was set out so you could get from one end to the other easily. The walls were either a cream or pale blue depending on where you were at the time. The school itself was designed so that upstairs was maths and IT in one area, a set of stairs, a hallway leading to English, history and languages, than business classes followed at the end by human sciences. Down stairs was science underneath maths and IT, applied technology and art was underneath the English area with food tech underneath human sciences. In between science and applied tech was a courtyard with lockers and tables. The staff rooms were upstairs above the main lobby on the opposite side of the courtyard.
Hey what are you doing here? Youre meant to be in History.
Rika looked up and saw Mitch look at her. Mitch had been her history teacher for a week in the beginning of last year and was due to take the class back starting today. Rika stared at Mitch wondering why his voice was familiar to her. Why everything about him was second nature yet she had never met him before until she came to the school last year. He had short dark brown hair and intelligent, vivid green eyes. He was wearing a maroon button down shirt and black dress pants, his shirt tucked neatly into his pants. The whole look suited him well Rika thought.
Hey, you should be teaching that class anyway, Rika accused.
I thought you said you had an addiction to serial killers? Mitch retaliated.
Rika looked up and watched a lazy smile creep its way onto Mitchs face. The history class they were talking about were currently studying serial killers that had changed the world. It tied in well with Rikas English class as she was reading Mein Kumpf the biography of Adolf Hitler. When Rika was doing her course selections last year Mitch had been in the room and heard her saying she liked serial killers then proceeding to rant to her link teacher about Jack the Ripper.
I have a fascination with them, not so much an addiction. I want to learn more on how they think, what drives them to become the people they do, why they are the way that they are. All that kind of stuff, Rika replied with a small shrug.
Mitch led Rika into the main staffroom so they could talk without other people walking everywhere in between them, he knew something was bothering her by the look on her face. It told him she wanted to tell him something but was still unsure. Rika followed him silently. She liked talking to Mitch, it was the way he treated her like an equal that made her feel as if she was.
Okay fair point. But why arent you in there now? Mitch pried gently.
Rika sighed and glanced out the window she was sitting next to watching a bird fly around before it disappeared out of sight and all she could see was the slightly grey clouds passing over the blue sky. She stared a minute longer before turning back to face Mitch, who was waiting patiently for her to answer a small frown on his face at the expression he had just seen on Rika. He wanted to know what was bothering her, but he knew hed have to wait until Rika wanted to tell him. He would get nowhere by pushing her into talking.
